Amo R.A.I.L.S. Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2002 by Restoring the Amo Interurban Into a Library Society (RAILS). The purpose of this fund is to raise funds to refurbish the Amo Interurban Railroad Station and convert it into a library.

Avon Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1998 by the Avon Chamber of Commerce. This purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a graduate of Avon High School that will be majoring in business.

Avon Community Matching Grant Fund
This endowed fund was established through the Community Foundation’s Community Matching Grant Program in 2007. The fund will benefit projects in Avon.

Avon High School Alumni Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by Mr. and Mrs. Rex McClain. The purpose of this fund is to give a scholarship to an Avon Alumni family member graduating from Avon High School.

Avon Junior Athletic Association Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2006 by the organization’s board of directors. The purpose of this fund is to support programs that benefit youth in Avon who are interested in sports.

Avon/Washington Township Public Library Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2005 by the Avon/Washington Township Public Library Board of Directors. This fund will provide the library with funds annually to meet needs now and in the future.

“Bear”ing Love Ministry Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2004 by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Groover. The purpose of this fund is to provide teddy bears to comfort children and adults alike who are suffering the effects of chemotherapy and cancer.

Becky Porter Support the Troops Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 by Becky S. Porter. The purpose of this fund is to raise funds to help support the United States Military personnel. The funds can be used to buy needed items or to provide postage to send the items, as well as other ways to support the troops.

Bee Reedy Beautification Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2000 by the Bee Reedy Family. The purpose of this fund is to provide support to the Plainfield Friends Church and to help support projects that will beautify the town of Plainfield.

Bonnie S. Walton Cooprider Scholarship Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2002 by Bonnie Cooprider. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship money to school cafeteria staff members who wish to attend seminars or additional training related to the field of nutrition and dietetics.

Brownsburg Blast Off Project Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2000 by the Brownsburg “Blast Off” Committee. The original purpose of this fund was to provide funds to build the Brownsburg Blast-Off playground at Williams Park. Now, the money is available for upkeep and maintanence.

Brownsburg Community Matching Grant Fund
This endowed fund was established through the Community Foundation’s Community Matching Grant Program in 2007. The fund will benefit projects in Brownsburg.

Brownsburg Parks Foundation Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2006 by the Brownsburg Parks Department. The purpose of this fund is to help provide support, enhance and maintain the Parks of Brownsburg. It also can be used to maintain and enhance the programs and recreational opportunities for Brownsburg citizens.

Carrie Thomas Youth in Philanthropy Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2001 by Carrie Thomas. The purpose of this fund is to support the Plainfield Community Middle School Junior Optimist Club and other youth philanthropy projects in Hendricks County.

Central Indiana Community Band Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2002 by Frank B. Collier. The purpose of this fund is to help provide a band for citizens of Hendricks County.

Central Indiana Land Trust-Burnett Woods Stewardship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2003 by two anonymous donors that care deeply about preserving Hendricks County land for the enjoyment of future generations. This fund will provide support to Central Indiana Land Trust Inc. (CILTI) in order to maintain its ownership interest in and the nature preserve quality of its Burnett Woods state-dedicated nature preserve property in the Town of Avon, IN. A secondary purpose shall be to provide support to Central Indiana Land Trust Incorporated to carry out its role and mission as described by its governing documents.

Clinton Fredwell Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by Steven J. Fredwell in memory of his father, Clinton. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a Brownsburg High School graduating senior.

 

Coatesville Community Development Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by the Coatesville Community Development Association to provide funds for the Coatesville Volunteer Fire Department.

Cody Cole Blanton Memorial Endowment Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2004 by Chet and Mary Ann Blanton in memory of their son, Cody Cole Blanton. Because Cody enjoyed volunteering in the Moderate/Severe Disabilities Program at Plainfield High School, the Blantons thought it would be appropriate to designate grants for fun activities such as parties and field trips or other activities that will bring enjoyment to these students.

County Seat Genealogical Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1996 by the County Seat Genealogical Society. The purpose of this fund is to provide funds for the County Seat Genealogical Society projects.

Danville Community Matching Grant Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2007 through the Community Foundation’s Community Matching Grant Program in 2007. The fund will benefit projects in Danville.

Dr. James F. Elrod Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1998 by Dr. James F. Elrod. The purpose of this fund is to provide annual donations in the donor’s name to the following: Amo High School Alumni Educational Grant Fund, Greencastle Presbyterian Church, Putnam County Library, Putnam County Hospital and the Coatesville Public Library.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes Endowment Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2005 by Brad Long, Executive Director of FCA. The purpose of this fund is to maintain FCA programming for Hendricks County athletes.

Friends of Avon Troop #392 Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2000 by the Troop Leader. The purpose of this fund is to help raise funds and support for the Boy Scout Troop #392.

Hangout Community Services Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 by the Hangout Community Service organization that helps to provide services to North Salem and Eel River citizens. They are saving money in order to buy an historic building in North Salem to house all of its services.

Haunts of the Hidden River Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 by the Haunts Committee. The purpose of this fund is to raise money to produce the haunted hayride event in Brownsburg. This event helps support town banners, Christmas decorations and other Brownsburg community enhancements.

Hendricks College Network Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2006 by the organization’s board of directors. This fund is housing a $200,000 grant they received from the Lumina Foundation for Education. The purpose of the grant is to further adult education in Hendricks County.

Hendricks County 4-H Foundation Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2005 by the Hendricks County 4-H Youth Council. The purpose of this fund is to enhance the quality of the 4-H program and to provide awards and scholarships to youth participating in the Hendricks County 4-H program.

Hendricks County 4-H Horse and Pony Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2005 by the Hendricks County Horse and Pony Club Board of Directors. The purpose of this fund is to support the Horse and Pony Project, to enhance educational opportunities of the members, and to provide awards to Horse and Pony members.

Hendricks County 4-H Youth Council Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1997 by the Hendricks County 4-H Youth Council to provide support to the Hendricks County 4-H Youth Council.

Hendricks County Alliance for Diversity Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2003 by Hendricks County Alliance for Diversity. The purpose of this fund is to help support activities that promote understanding and appreciation of differences within the Hendricks County community.

Hendricks County Arts Council Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2005 by the Hendricks County Arts Council. The purpose of this fund is to provide financial means to promote and encourage arts in Hendricks County.

Hendricks County Emergency Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2002 with a grant from the Lincoln Federal Charitable Foundation. The purpose of this fund is to provide funding in the event of a catastrophic emergency in Hendricks County.

Hendricks County Habitat for Humanity Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1996 by John H. Anderson. The purpose of this fund is to help support Hendricks County Habitat for Humanity.

Hendricks County Retired Teachers Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by the Hendricks County Retired Teachers Association. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a Hendricks County senior that will be pursuing an education degree.

Hendricks County Senior Services Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1997 by Hendricks County Senior Services. This fund will provide support to the Hendricks County Senior Services to fulfill its role and mission as described by its governing documents.

Hendricks County Senior Services Non-Permanent Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2002 with a bequest to the Hendricks County Senior Services. The purpose of this fund is to give grants to Hendricks County Senior Services’ Transportation Program.

Hendricks Regional Health Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by Hendricks Regional Health. The purpose of this fund is to further the programs of the Hendricks Community Chaplaincy Program.

Home Economists Guild of Indianapolis Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by Home Economists Guild of Indianapolis. The purpose of this fund is to help provide support for their charitable projects.

Jackie Eggers Memorial Fund for Children
This endowed fund was established in 2004 with a bequest from Jackie Eggers. Because of his years of service to the Amo School and his love of children, this fund will provide activities that benefit school-age children in Clay township.

Jackie Quandt Leadership Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by Barbara J. Quandt in memory of her daughter, Jackie. This fund is to provide support for a program that would offer leadership training and experiences to junior and senior girls of Danville High School.

Kappa Kappa Kappa-Avon Eta Kappa Chapter Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2007 by the women of the Avon Eta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa to ensure that their charitable projects will continue forever. Each year local chapters and state Tri Kappa give over $1.5 million to its endeavors of charity, culture and education. The Avon Tri Kappa was founded in 2006 to give assistance to the growing needs of Avon, Washington Township and Hendricks County.

Kappa Kappa Kappa-Delta Pi Chapter Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc., Delta Pi Chapter. The purpose of this fund is to help support the charitable projects of the Delta Pi Chapter.

Leadership Hendricks County Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2005 by Leadership Hendricks County to honor Suzanne Whicker’s 10 years of service. The purpose of this fund is to help support programs of Leadership Hendricks County.

Mill Creek Community Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1997 by Richard and Vicki Dietz. The purpose of this fund is to enhance the quality of life of the Mill Creek Community.

Mill Creek School Corporation Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by the Mill Creek School Corporation. The purpose of this fund is help provide professional development for the staff and also can provide scholarships for graduating seniors of Cascade High School.

North Salem Community Matching Grant Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2007 through the Community Foundation’s Community Matching Grant Program in 2007. The fund will benefit projects in North Salem.

North Salem High School Alumni Association Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by North Salem High School Alumni Association. The purpose of this fund is to provide educational grants for individuals or education projects and/or grant scholarship(s) to graduating seniors from Eel River Township.

North West Hendricks School Corporation Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1998 by North West Hendricks School Corporation, Inc. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships to Tri-West High School graduating seniors. It also can provide professional development for the staff of North West Hendricks School Corporation.

One Room School Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by North West Hendricks School Corporation. The purpose of this fund is to provide support for the maintenance of the One Room School located in Pittsboro.

Palestine Cemetery Association of Putnam County Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1997 by the Palestine Cemetery Association of Putman County. The purpose of this fund is to help provide support for the maintenance of the Palestine Cemetery.

Peter D. Sims Music Endowment Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1997 by Peter D. Sims. The purpose of this fund is to provide support for the Plainfield High School choral department.

Pittsboro United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2000 by Pittsboro United Methodist Church. The purpose of this fund is to provide Scholarships to graduating seniors of Tri-West High School.

Plainfield Chamber of Commerce Christmas Decoration Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 1995 by the Greater Plainfield Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of this fund is to provide support for the Christmas Decoration Project in Plainfield.

Plainfield Community Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1995 with the gifts of Plainfield donors that were given to the Greater Plainfield Community Foundation. When the Community Foundation expanded to county-wide, the Board of Directors placed all of the Plainfield gifts in this Fund. The purpose of the Fund is to enhance the quality of life in Plainfield and Guildford Twp.

Plainfield Healthcare Chapel Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2001 by the Plainfield Healthcare Chapel Board of Directors. The purpose of this fund is to help provide support for the Hendricks County Chapel in the Plainfield Healthcare facility.

Plainfield High School Alumni Education Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1996 by the Plainfield High School Alumni Association. The purpose of this fund is to provide support to Plainfield Alumni that are in need of financial aid for additional or continuing education.

Plainfield Public Library Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1998 by the Plainfield Public Library. The purpose of this fund is to assist the Plainfield Public Library in carrying out its mission, in meeting community needs, and in maintaining the library’s high standards of service to people of Guilford Township.

Plainfield Youth Athletic Complex Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 by the fund raising committee for the Plainfield Youth Athletic Complex. They will be raising funds to build a youth athletic complex in Plainfield. The committee will be applying for grants from foundations that specialize in youth projects.

Porcelain Art School Education Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by Porcelain Artists of Indiana. This fund will provide grant money to help support the programs of the Porcelain Art School.

Project Blue Light Ceremony Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 to raise funds to help pay for the annual Blue Light Ceremony held at the Police Academy in Plainfield. This ceremony pays tribute to all fallen Indiana police officers and fire fighters.

Psi Iota Xi Sorority-Gamma Nu Chapter Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1996 by Psi Iota Xi Sorority, Gamma Nu Chapter. The purpose of this fund is to support the charitable activities of the sorority.

Russell and Claire Maltsberger Memorial
This endowed fund was established in 2007 with a bequest from Russell Maltsberger. The purpose of this fund is to make grants to Riley Hospital for Children.

Saxman Family Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 to benefit Plainfield School Corporation students in emergency need. Needs can include, but not limited to, eye exams, glasses, dental exams and clothing. These funds will be dispersed to the Plainfield School Corporation. Ray and Carolyn Saxman both taught in the Plainfield school system and are dedicated to helping students.

Share the Spirit Food Drive Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 by Valerie Moore, Donna Richard and Tracey Snapp. These young mothers live in Brownsburg and wanted to teach their children how to give back to the community at the holiday season. They started a neighborhood food drive and donated the food to a local shelter in Brownsburg. The project has grown to organizing neighborhood food drives throughout Hendricks County.

Sheltering Wings Center for Women Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2005 by Dori Brauman. The purpose of this fund is to provide support to Sheltering Wings Center for Women to carry out its mission.

Sports for All Kids Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2004 by Amy Comer Broderick. The purpose of this fund is to provide funds for children who wish to participate in sports outside of school but who cannot afford the registration fees.

Stepping Stones to Life
This non-permanent fund was established in 2006 by the Northview Christian Church. The purpose of this fund is to provide support for the Stepping Stones to Life Outreach, which is a program for families in crisis.

Stilesville High School Alumni Association Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2003 by the Stilesville High School Alumni Association. The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to a Cascade High School graduating senior who lives in Franklin Township.

Summer Lunch Bunch Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2005 by the Hendricks County Community Foundation Grant Committee. The purpose of this fund is to provide support to replicate the Lunch Bunch program throughout Hendricks County.

Sycamore Services/Hendricks County ARC Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by the Sycamore Services Board of Directors. The purpose of this fund is to provide support to Sycamore Services.


Target Metabolism Fund for Fitness and Health
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 in conjunction with Hendricks County’s Biggest Loser Contest by Beth Thompson. The purpose of this fund is to promote physical fitness and health for children through the school corporations. A grant cycle will be held in order to award money to purchase pedometers, heart rate monitors and other equipment that will promote physical fitness.

TheyreOurKids.org Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2007 to support the theyreourkids.org website. This project was initiated by the Leadership Hendricks County 2006 educational project. This website is free to all parents of Hendricks County. It provides links to helpful information for parents including scholarship information and parenting resources.

Tom and Nancy Newlin Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2007 by Tom and Nancy Newlin. The purpose of this fund is to provide support to the Plainfield Friends Church.

Town of Plainfield Historic Preservation Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2001 by the Town of Plainfield. The purpose of this fund is to help provide support for the restoration of the Plainfield Inter-urban Railroad Station.

XFUND
This endowed fund was established in 2007 to reach those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. The purpose of this fund is to provide support for charitable projects in Hendricks County.

Zup’s Imagination Fund
This permanent fund was established in 2007 by the Wings of Golf Committee to honor Tom Zupancic for the hours of time and effort he has dedicated to the United Way Wings of Golf Outing. The purpose of the fund is to help provide support to United Way youth programs in Hendricks County.
