Barbara Ford Neher Leukemia Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2003 by Barbara’s husband, Joe Neher, and her family. The purpose of this fund is to assist Hendricks County citizens struggling with leukemia.
Doris Parker Music Endowment
This endowed fund was established in 2006 by Doris’s children, Willa Dean and Durbin Yeager and Willis and Linda Parker and friends in memory of Doris and her love of music. The purpose of this fund is to provide musical opportunities to her community.
Greater Brownsburg Community Association Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1999 by citizens of Brownsburg. The purpose of this fund is to support a
community center and a swimming pool for the Greater Brownsburg community, if it comes into existence.
Habit of the Heart Endowment Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2005 by the Habit of the Heart Committee. The purpose of this fund is to help meet emergency needs of Hendricks County youth and women. The Habit of the Heart Committee holds the Habit of the Heart Gala weekend, a fundraising event, each year in September.
Harold Schooler & Virginia Schooler Morrison Memorial Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2001 from a bequest in Virginia Schooler Morrison’s will. The purpose of this fund is to provide support for beautification projects for Plainfield and Guilford Township.
Marsha Louise Moore Family
This endowed fund was established in 2005 by Mr. and Mrs. Dan Moore. The purpose of this fund is to assist with public awareness and to promote education and/or knowledge of abuse or drug and/or alcohol addiction problems.
Youth Philanthropy Initiative of Hendricks County Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2002 by Rebecca Anne Wilson. The primary purpose of this fund is to develop lifelong philanthropists. Further purposes are: to promote youth philanthropy through partnerships and collaboration; to support giving and serving among young people through training, education and resources; and to sustain youth philanthropic efforts in ways that meet local community needs.
