Amo High School Alumni Education Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1996 by the Alumni of Amo High School. The purpose of this fund is to provide educational grants for citizens to Clay Township. These grants can be for graduating seniors as well as community projects that would further education i.e. libraries.

Avon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Fund
This designated non-permanent fund was established in 2000 by Dr. Charles Nelson, Dr. Robert Sexton, Dr. Robert McDonough, and Dr. Kevin Stockton. The purpose of this fund is to give an educational grant to the Lilly Community Scholarship finalists.

Betty Masselink Memorial Scholarship Fund
This designated endowed fund was established in 2002 by Jack Masselink in the memory of Betty Masselink. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to the Valedictorian of Plainfield High School.

Charles and Harriett Muston Scholarship Fund
This donor advised endowed fund was established in 1996 by children and friends of Charles and Harriett Muston in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary and their retirement. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a Hendricks County graduating senior that will be attending college.

Damon T. Leach Memorial Scholarship Fund
This donor advised endowed fund was established in1997 by Mr. and Mrs. David Leach in memory of their son, Damon. The purpose of this fund is to perpetuate the ideals and way of life of Damon Leach, by awarding an annual Scholarship to a Plainfield High School senior athlete who has upheld high standards of character, athletic achievement, leadership and scholarship.

Dollens Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2003 by Ron Dollens. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a Danville High School graduating senior who plans a career in education, science or engineering.

Duke Energy Indiana, Inc. Continuing Education Fund
This designated endowed fund was established in 2001 by Duke Energy to memorialize the 50th Anniversary of PSI/Cinergy’s move to Plainfield. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for Hendricks County students that plan to attend a trade school.

Edwards-Rigdon Scholarship Fund
This donor advised endowed fund was established in 1998 by Tom Edwards and Jeff Rigdon. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a Hendricks County senior that will be attending an accredited university or college to pursue a four-year degree in a construction-related field, such as construction management, engineering or architecture, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or construction engineering technology.

Eli Welch Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2003 by Jim and Phyllis Welch in memory of their son, Eli Welch. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to an Avon High School graduating senior.

Frank W. and Edna Mae Barnes Scholarship Fund
This designated endowed fund was established in 2001 by Frank W. Barnes in memory of his wife, Edna Mae who taught school for many years. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a graduating Cascade Senior attending college. The monetary award will be given to the student at the beginning of his/her sophomore year of college.

Ginny Buehler Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2004 by the colleagues and friends of beloved Brentwood Elementary teacher Ginny Buehler. Ginny lost her battle with cancer in 2003. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a Plainfield High School graduate.

Gladys V. (Nickell) Pritchett Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2007 for Gladys by her daughter and son-in-law, Timothy R. and Janet S. Whiteman. The purpose of this fund is to give a renewable (up to three years) scholarship for any Hendricks County graduating senior or Hendricks County resident that has graduated from an accredited high school or has passed the GED (high school equivalency test) that is pursuing a degree in education.

Gregory Alan Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund
This donor advised endowed fund was established in 2001 by John and Jeretta Brown in memory of their infant son, Gregory Alan Brown. The primary purpose of the fund is to provide a scholarship to a Tri-West High School senior.

Hal Dunn Outstanding Lineman Scholarship Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2003 by the wife and children of Hal Dunn after his death in 2002. The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to an Avon High School outstanding lineman who plans to attend college.

Hendricks County Law Enforcement Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2004 by the Hendricks County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #132 to honor the memory of deceased law enforcement officers. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a student who is interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.

Jennifer N. Atkinson & Melissa S. Ellis Memorial Scholarship Fund
This designated endowed fund was established in 1999 by Jennifer and Melissa’s families in memory of the two girls who were killed in an automobile accident. The purpose of this fund is to award scholarships to Tri-West high school graduating seniors.

Jerry Hinds/Indy Hoops Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2004 by the friends and fellow coaches of Jerry Hinds. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a sixth grade student who has participated in the Indy Hoops program for three years.

Jim Lovell Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2004 by Russell and Mildred Lovell in memory of their son. The fund is to award a scholarship to a graduating Plainfield High School senior who was active in high school baseball.

Kellum-Bly Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2001 by Paul Kellum. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a graduating senior of Plainfield High School that will be majoring in Education.

Logan Parker Memorial Scholarship Fund
This non-permanent designated fund was established in 2007 in memory of Logan who would have been a senior at Avon High School in 2007. This scholarship will be designated to an Avon graduating senior and to a Ben Davis Vocational student who will be attending the Printing Program at Vincennes University.

Major Steve Long Scholarship Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2001 by the family of Major Steve Long, a 1981 graduate of Cascade High School, who was killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the Pentagon. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship in his memory to a Cascade graduating senior.

Marine Corporal Terry A. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship Fund
This designated endowed fund was established in 2001 by Edgar G. and Geraldine L. Hoffman, in memory of their son, Terry, who was killed in the Vietnam War. This fund provides a scholarship to a graduating Danville High School senior that exemplifies personal characteristics of Marine Corporal Hoffman--love of God, honesty, love of country, kindness, sportsmanship, and grades.

Max Gibbs Memorial Fund
This endowed fund established in 2007 will provide a scholarship to a graduating senior of Danville High School who will be attending college. Max was a distinguished educator with a 30 year career in the Danville Community School Corporation. He dedicated his life to helping others through education.

Milburn and Mildred (Bowman) Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2004 by David Smith in memory of his parents. The purpose of this fund is to provide a $1,000 scholarship to a Tri-West graduating senior.

Pliny and Mildred Randall Scholarship Fund
This donor advised endowed fund was established in 1994 through a bequest by Mildred and Pliny Randall. The purpose of this fund is to give a scholarship to the Valedictorian at Plainfield High School.

Richard H. Crosser Memorial Scholarship Fund for Avon High School
This endowed fund was established in 2000 by Crosser Communities in memory of Richard Crosser. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for an Avon High School graduating senior. Preference is given to a student living in a Crosser Community.

Richard H. Crosser Memorial Scholarship Fund for Brownsburg High School
This endowed fund was established in 2000 by Crosser Communities in memory of Richard Crosser. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a Brownsburg High School graduating senior. Preference is given to a student living in a Crosser Community.

This endowed fund was established in 2000 by Crosser Communities in memory of Richard Crosser. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a Tri-West High School graduating senior. Preference is given to a student living in a Crosser Community.

Robert Burks Koho Memorial Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2004 by Joan Koho in memory of Robert Burks Koho. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for a graduating Plainfield High School senior.

Russell M. Webb Memorial Scholarship Fund
This designated endowed fund was established in 2000 by the children of Russell Webb in memory of their father. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a graduating Brownsburg High School student who needs financial assistance in attending college.

Shelby Rae Smith Memorial Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2007 by her Mother, Sherrie. Shelby Rae was killed by a drunk driver in July, 1999, just two months after she graduated from Avon High School. Even in Mrs. Smith’s grief, she wanted to celebrate Shelby Rae’s life in such a way that it would make a difference. She established a memorial scholarship that will be given each year to students from Avon High School.

Smitherman Family Scholarship Fund
This designated endowed fund was established in 2000 by Marvin and Colleen Smitherman in memory of Marvin’s parents, Wendall and Lois Smitherman. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a Cascade graduating senior.

State Bank of Lizton Community Bankers Scholarship Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2000 by the State Bank of Lizton. The purpose of this fund is to provide renewable scholarships to graduating seniors from Tri-West High School, Brownsburg High School, and Bethesda Christian High School.

Stilesville High School Alumni Association Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2003 by the Stilesville High School Alumni Association. The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to a Cascade High School graduating senior who lives in Franklin Township.

Suzi Biggerstaff Memorial Fund
This designated endowed fund was established in 1999 by Steve Biggerstaff in memory of his wife, Suzi Biggerstaff. The purpose of this fund is to continue Suzi’s legacy of love of children and education by providing a scholarship to a graduating senior from Plainfield High School.

V. Lloyd Acton Leadership in Education Scholarship Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2000 by Lloyd Acton’s family and friends in celebration of a “special” birthday, his retirement from Eli Lilly, and his re-election to the Avon School Board for a 6th term. The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship for an Avon High School graduating senior who will be entering the field of education.

William Wynkoop Scholarship Fund
This non-permanent fund was established in 2006 by William Wynkoop. The purpose of this fund is to give two scholarships to Tri-West graduating seniors--one boy and one girl in who live in Mr. Wynkoop’s mail route in North Salem.
