Hendricks County Community Foundation Operating Endowment Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1993 by the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors. The purpose of this fund is to provide grants for the operating budget of the Hendricks County Community Foundation.

Opportunity Fund
This endowed fund was established in 1996 by the Hendricks County Community Foundation’s Board of Directors. The purpose of this fund is to award grants to Hendricks County charitable projects.

Directors’ Unrestricted Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2001 by the Hendricks County Community Foundation’s Board of Directors to raise money for the Unrestricted Fund for the Lilly Endowment Phase V challenge match. Partial income from this fund will be used to award grants to Hendricks County charitable projects.

Lincoln Charitable Foundation Inc. Fund
This endowed fund was established in 2002 by the Lincoln Federal Charitable Foundation. The purpose of this fund is to provide grant money for various charitable projects and organizations as recommended by the Community Foundation’s grant committee and Board of Directors.

Legacy Funds
Grow Your Legacy Funds allow individuals to create endowments in the name of their family, loved one or business, or in honor of their parents, children or grandparents. Seedling Funds ($500-$4,999) are pooled in an endowment, allowing grants to be awarded by the Hendricks County Community Foundation to charitable organizations. Sapling Funds ($5,000-$49,999) and Sycamore Funds ($50,000+) are separate endowments through which grants are awarded by the Community Foundation in the name of the fund.

Tom and Mary Hobbs Family Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2006 by Tom and Mary Hobbs.

Seedling Funds
Al and Nancy Bennett Family Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2007 by Al and Nancy Bennett.

Bill Baker Family Legacy Fund
Barbara Baker established this endowed fund in 2007 in memory of her late husband, Bill. This Fund is a reminder of Bill and Barbara’s desire to make a difference for their community.

Brock Family Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2007 in memory of Charles and Ethel Brock.

Dan and Sandy Young Family Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2007 by Dan and Sandy Young.

Givan Family Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2006 by the children and grandchildren of Judge Richard and Pauline Givan.

Guy and Jennifer Swenson Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2006 by Guy and Jennifer Swenson.

James and Suzanne Durell Legacy Fund
This endowned legacy fund was established in 2006 by David and Laura Durell in honor of David’s parents.

McColgin Family Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2006 by Robert and Alice McColgin.

Michael L. Hanna Memorial Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2007 memory of Mike.

Moore Family Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2006 by John D. and Mary Ellen Moore.

The Whitmore Memorial Legacy Fund
This endowed legacy fund was established in 2006 by Shawn, Terri and Spencer McCoy to honor Terri’s grandparents, George and Virginia Whitmore.
