Grants

Gifts to endowed funds held at the Hendricks County Community Foundation are permanently invested. Annual income from these funds as well as our non-permanent funds provide grants to charitable organizations and worthy causes that will improve the quality of life within our community forever. Grants are directed according to the wishes of the donor who established the fund. See Funds for more information regarding the type of funds we offer and a full listing of our funds.

To meet needs in the community, the Community Foundation awards grants from the Deedee Daniel Opportunity Fund with a bi-annual grant cycle. Applications next be accepted from June 1 - 29, 2012. View a map of our grant recipients.

The Community Foundation currently manages over 170 funds created by individuals, families, businesses and organizations for charitable purposes.

In 2010, funds held at the Community Foundation awarded over $625,000 in grants to local organizations and projects.
