The Hendricks County Community Foundation is proud to partner with Lilly Endowment, Inc. to select two Hendricks County high school seniors as nominees for the 2008 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program.
The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship is a scholarship for full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $800 per year for required books and required equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis, leading to a baccalaureate degree at any Indiana public or private college or university.
The Hendricks County Community Foundation selects the scholarship winners based on grades, community service and leadership skills.
To be eligible, a student must:
- Be a Hendricks County resident
- Be ranked in the top 15% (GPA) of his/her class
- Be involved in significant community service
- Be involved in extracurricular activities
- Graduate by the end of June 2008
- Be accepted to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study beginning in the fall of 2008 at an accredited public or private college or university in Indiana.
